Islington Golf Club offers a unique balance of old-world charm and modern sophistication. The historic clubhouse overlooks rolling greens, mature trees, and a gently winding creek — a dream backdrop for wedding portraits.
One of the standout features of the property is the wooden bridge that spans the creek. It became the perfect spot for the couple to share a quiet moment and created some of my favourite images of the day.

Even on an overcast day, the soft light across the course helped create beautifully true-to-colour, editorial-inspired images. Later, as the sun began to set, the terrace behind the clubhouse lit up with the most incredible golden-hour light — perfect for romantic evening portraits.
Wedding Highlights
The couple chose a soft, romantic colour palette of blush, pale blue, and cream, which worked beautifully against the natural greens of the golf course.
The wedding party portraits in front of the clubhouse offered a great mix of candid and composed shots — and later in the day, the newlyweds shared a first dance surrounded by friends and family in the spacious reception hall.
The day ended with dreamy sunset images on the terrace, overlooking the course as the light dipped below the trees.
